The Peruzzi Royal Suite is part of the historical Palazzo Salutati, whose origins are dated back in the years '300 and fully refurbished in late '600, located in Piazza dei Peruzzi, one of the most charming and smallest squares right in the heart of medieval Florence, built by the wealthy Peruzzi family of bankers in the XIII century,

Peruzzi Royal Suite is your cozy nest for visiting Florence thanks to its central position: just 1 min walk from Piazza Santa Croce, 5 minutes to the Duomo with the Cupola of Brunelleschi and the Battistero with the bronze doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, 5 min to Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. From here you can cross the river Arno and get to Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli gardens, a breath-taking example of Italian style gardens.

This historical Suite has just been completely renovated and we are happy to host our delighted guests since August, 2022. The suite includes a charming entrance, a large living with sofa bed for 2 and a kitchen with dining facility, a large bedroom with king size bed and 2 wardrobes, and a magnificent bathroom with a shower and a tub. We can sleep 4 adults and 1 baby (0-3yrs) in a baby bed.

The Suite has air conditioning, double heating (radiator and split inverter), free unlimited Wi-Fi.

THE RENOVATION: During the renovation workouts we have discovered and brought back to life after hundreds of years the original wooden ceiling built with a specific technique used in the XVII century called "Cassettone". A small arch was also discovered right at the entrance, which is structural to sustain the walls. To preserve the original structure, we have covered the floors with oak wood, warm and smooth, best way to enjoy it is walking barefoot in the Suite.

THE MAGNIFICENT BATHROOM: the bathroom is a jewel with sophisticated wall paper and luxury furniture covered with silver leaves. An exclusive tub-with-a-view is the cherry on the cake, you will also find bath salts and perfumed candles to let your dreams fly while relaxing. A large shower completes the facilities. Of course a WC and bidet are available in a separated corner.

THE BEDROOM: a large 20 sqm room to accommodate a king-size bed and a cabin with 2 wardrobes and a human-sized mirror. To allow a Lady to make the best of the elegant Florentine evenings you will find a nice XIX century toiletry just beside the window. A large 55" LG OLED smart TV is in the bedroom, with free channels and free access to Prime Video and Disney+ channels.

THE LIVING: a large 25sqm space is half a relaxing living with sofa bed, coffee table, and 2 armchairs, equipped with a large 55" LG OLED smart TV with free channels and free access to Prime Video and Disney+ channels. The other half includes a dining table, and a modern kitchen fully equipped with induction hob, electrical oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, American coffee machine, toaster.

Luxury linens, towels and slippers are provided and included in the rate.

Italian breakfast is also included in the rate, with a wide choice of croissants, jams, honey, Nutella, cereals, milk, tea infusions and coffee, toasts, fruit juice, cookies.

Complimentary water bottles are in the fridge at your arrival.

The Peruzzi Royal Suite is just 1 min walk from Piazza Santa Croce. Within 5 min relaxed walk in the pedestrian area downtown Florence, you can reach Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi, 10 minutes to the Duomo with the Cupola of Brunelleschi and the Battistero with the bronze doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, and close to the Uffizi you find Ponte Vecchio, the Old Bridge. From here you can cross the river Arno and get to Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli gardens, a breath-taking example of Italian style gardens.
